7 month old dropping feeds

My 7 month dd is dropping a lot of her feeds. Everytime I go to feed her in the day she turns her head and doesn't want to know. She is breast fed and gets very fussy when I try and feed her to the point she starts getting destressed and cries. I've been pumping and putting it into a cup. She's totally fine with food and enjoying it a lot. I thought perhaps it was too much food as I know 'food is for fun until 1' motto is popular here, so I tried reducing her solids and upping milk but that did not go down well at all.
I'm not sure what to do or how to approach this. Do I just pump and offer her milk throughout the day in a cup (my milk). I know they are supposed to have 500ml, it just seems a lot to try and give her in a cup.
Help please. Thank you :(

Hello, I have no advice unfortunately but just to say you're not alone-I have a FF 7mo (have just stopped bf) who is doing the same. He too loves his solids but at the moment it feels like every milk feed is a battle! Like you I have tries reducing solids but he still drinks very little milk-I know they are supposed to have 20oz at this stage (sorry I can only deal in ounces!!) but I'm lucky if I get 12oz into him.

My best suggestion is to try to sneak milk/dairy stuff into their solid food. I add formula milk to baby cereal that already has powdered milk in (so a double 'milk hit'!), offer a yogurt after lunch each day, add cheese/milk to solid food meals when I can.

Thank you so much dietcoke. That's great advise. I pumped and added my milk to her porridge which she ate all of it and the rest of the milk in a cup. I also am giving her a yogurt now too. I do have a 2 year old who I think was the same but can you believe I've forgotten pretty much everything lol.
