How much sick is too much??

Dd is 11 weeks old, ebf and seems very happy. Recently she seems to be sick after all her feeds, sometimes a little but mostly enough for a new set of clothes to be needed. I still seem to have quite a strong letdown and also still leak. I tried to discuss this with my hv but because her weight gain is so good she pretty much dismissed my concerns. Is this normal or something I should be concerned about?

Sounds like it might be reflux, does lo cry much after a feed, maybe when lying down? Do they seem in pain at all? 2 of my ds have had reflux, ds 3 is currently on infant gaviscon. Ds2 was much worse, gaviscon, domperidone and renitidene.

Thats the thing I wondered but she isn't bothered by it all, she sleeps well and is happy when she is awake so it's very confusing!!

Our dd was like this, a happy puker. She would produce mountains of the stuff but was never unhappy. Lots of wet nappies and far too much poos. She just grew out of it.
As long as they're happy, peeing and pooing, putting on weight and you feel she's responsive and alert when awake I wouldn't worry. Just means more washing in afraid
Don't worry if you feel you need to get medical help. That's what they're there for.

Some babies just puke. So long as she is happy and healthy and gaining weight, it's just an inconvenience rather than a problem.

Sounds like my little lump. As long as it's white and not green and otherwise healthy don't worry.

Apparently I was like this as a baby - took two feeds almost every time because I would throw up the first one. FYI I'm still alive :-)

My DS is a happy puker too, 4.5 months now I'm hoping it will get better when he's weaned in a couple months time, the amount of laundry is shocking! I have a strong letdown and leak lots too, I think he gorges himself and pukes up because of that but he's happy and chubby!

Oh how I am looking forward to this improving, I know I shouldn't grumble because she is fab in every other way but oh my goodness the bloody washing!!!!

My DTS is a happy puker. Produces gallons of the stuff. I must be practically making enough milk for triplets! Sadly at 7 months, he's still a puker. Solids haven't help much. Although he is a little bit better.

If your LO is weeing, pooing, generally happy and growing, then it's a laundry issue. I go through soooo many muslins!

maybe try winding her halfway through? it could just be a lot of posset, my ds did this a lot and when we winded him it improved.

Oh I posted about this a few days ago and my little girl is about same age. First time I came across the description 'happy puker' but that really is her - it's me that's more upset about the clothes changes and washing, but I can live with that...

Another one with a happy puker, hv not interested as chubby and alert. I second winding halfway through, she starts fussing and pulling off, burps (pukes) then back on for more. Sitting/feeding upright etc all the usual reflex advice made no difference.
