Just wondering if anybody has any experience of this!? I am waiting on urine sample results to confirm but doctors believe my nearly 4 week old son has breast milk jaundice. He is doing just fine he is ebf weighed 8lb 3oz at birth and weighed 10lb 5oz at 3weeks + 1 day so is gaining weight no problem and eats and sleeps just fine. Just after any1 else's experiences if any1 has any!!?? Worrying incase it becomes a problem or comes back as something more serious! Thanks Grin

My first was ebf and had breast milk jaundice. He was a winter baby so lasted months. Despite blood tests because HV and doc concerned all absolutely fine and he is a very healthy four year old now. Try and put him in the light as much as possible, sleep under a window, outside in the pram etc be outside as much as you can.

Hope that reassures you, sure he'll be fine x

My DD had it. November baby, but luckily quite a lot of sun. Stuck her in front of the window for 20-30 mins 2-3 times a day and it cleared up in a week.

Ds had it from birth and it didn't go until he was about 10 weeks. He was fine though, didn't need any treatment. I guess it was due to him being a winter baby like the others said. Keep him in front of the window during the day for naps and it should clear up soon.
