Tongue tie advice please

Hi,

We had our LO's tongue and lip tie lasered at 10 weeks. I didn't see a difference with breastfeeding but thought I should just give it time. For the 1st two days after, my DH did the exercise (sweeping finger under the tongue) and then I did it. When I did it I noticed there was still a bump there, and I wasn't sure whether it hadn't been removed or had re-grown. 10 days later LO was checked by a lactation consultant who said there was still something there. A month later she was checked too and they again said there is something there.

So I'm not sure what to do. One of my breasts is quite sore and is especially sore today. Will removing the last bit of the tie really help? We've spent so much money on private lactation consultant, the procedure and osteopathy and nothing has helped! What would you advise we do?

Sorry you are still having problems. I don't have the answer for you (my LO only just diagnosed with TT at 17 months Sad), but you might get some helpful insight from others experiences, on the tongue tie facebook group... I found them very helpful.
