bf and sleeping bags

ds is getting to be a right little wriggler (14wks) and is quite often the opposite way round when I wake up. kicking his covers off doesn't seem to bother him too much yet but imagine it will when it gets colder so want to get couple of baby sleeping bags.

what do you do for breastfeeding - take them out or just lift them up in sleeping bag?

Just lift them out in the bag, then plop back down again when you're done!

I've just fed DD. She stays put in her bag unless her nappy needs changing.

Feed with bag on!!

Doing this as we speak. Ds in his bag, happy as anything. I was skeptical about sleeping bags but I'm a total convert. No more cold toes.

Imagine how cats pick up there kittens...

Ok, not that harsh but I used to pick dd up by the sleeping bag and bring her across in to my bed for a feed (all of half a metre as was next to my bed). They are great those bags are. TK maxx always had decent ones for a good price. You need 2 in case of sick or poop acident!

Only if she'd pooped would I change her.

Also, my wriggler slept through for the first time when I put him in a sleeping bag, I guess because he wasn't getting cold/frustrated kicking his covers off - bonus!!

I LOVE sleeping bags. Especially when we are at the caravan as I often leave him in it while we heat the van up in the morning. We also feed in bag, only take it off for a change

Can I ask about hands? Does it matter if they are cold? Dd seems to have inherited my poor circulation, her body and core are lovely and warm, but even though the bedroom hasn't dropped below 19 her hands are like icicles in the morning. I don't want to put mitts on because she uses het hands for soothing herself...

Cold hands and feet perfectly normal. Both of mine always had chilly extremities.
