Domperidone - confused?

Hi,

I was just looking online to buy some Domperidone to increase my milk supply as heard many have said it really has helped. I wasn't sure where to buy it from but looked at expresschemist as it was the main UK site that gave it.

It says on it though that you shouldn't take it whilst breastfeeding. How is this so if it helps increase breastmilk?

Very confused. Has anyone got any answers for me?
Also, how long do you take it for and does your supply stay high after taking it or dip back down low again?

TIA.

Will your GP not prescribe it for you?

If you google Breastfeeding Network and domperidone, there is a fact sheet about it, the dosage and the risks of taking it. Smile
