I got the tommee tippee sterilization set. I know how to use it and sterilize the bottles. What I don't understand is this - once I take the teat and screw ring out of the sterilizer and place on the sterilized hood and screw it to the sterilized bottle is that unit now good - i.e. I can now take it out and about and add formula as and when like later that day. Cant find any info in whether the hood means the teat is sterile and safe, or for how long it will remain sterile? Reason I ask is that I can clean up to 6 bottles in unit and they remain sterile for 24 hours with sterilizer lid on - says nothing about how sterile it is once out of the machine.
