I'm (very) pregnant with dd 2 , just got the steriliser out and it is covered in limescale.

Does any one have any idea how to descale?

Obv I am a bit worried about chemicals.

TIA

I used bicarb of soda on mine, left it to soak and then scrubbed it, then just rinsed it well :)

You can use white vinegar or lemon juice as well :)

Thank you!
No bicarbonate of soda in house ( I'm not the type:( )
I have malt vinegar and bottled lemon juice, will either of these do?
If so how much do I use and how much water?

Vinegar works brilliantly on lime scale on my useless non draining draing board.

Vinegar will be fine amdmlemon juice, not sure on quantities, I would just mix some together,'say half a cupful, leave it to soak for a bit ams then it should scrub off :)

Just a quick note to say thank you to everyone who posted.
