Cracked nipples @ 7 months???

Title says it all really. DD is DC no3 and never had any issues with cracked nipples with the others. She point blank refuses any type of formula so its going to be boob for a while longer than I anticipated but all of a sudden have started to get cracked nipples. No sign of thrush so I'm thinking she is just getting lazy latching on. Anyone got any experience???

sore nipples at 13 mo here. No problems at all since the first week. Patch of raw skin on each side and feeding is agony. I think its lazy latch/incisors coming through...? Either way its made me plan my exit strategy from BFing. Tis enjoyable no more.. :-(

I had a cracked nipple about 6 weeks ago when DS was about 7.5 months. It's cleared up completely now by using Jelonet and lots of vaseline.
You can buy Jelonet from a pharmacy, cut it up (I folded it too), put it on your nipple, wash off before a feed, then apply vaseline after the feed, so it doesn't dry out, and leave the jelonet on.
It's a bit of a faff but it works!
