My DD is 6.5 months. We have mixed fed from birth (2 bottles of formula a day and BF all other times). We have never had any problems with switching between the two and she is putting on weight fine.
The last couple of weeks she has started making funny growly, whingey noises while feeding. This happens mostly during breastfeeding but occasionally when she has a bottle too. It would happen rarely before - maybe one night a month but is now happening at most breastfeeds. She doesn't refuse the nipple or cry and will sometimes pop off to have a look around before diving back on again. It's more general fussiness and this odd almost frustrated noise. Sometimes she settles down properly after 5-10mins of this, sometimes I change boob which can work sometimes so we're finding ways round it, I just wondered if anyone else had had this or had any ideas why she's just not as settled now during feeding.
For extra info, we started weaning 3 weeks ago (currently puree/rice twice a day) no problems. She also has been having teething pain on/off quite badly for 6 weeks. Could either of those be involved?
