Trapped wind 13 days old

Hi all

My lo is 13 days old and is suffering really badly with trapped wind, mainly during night feeds. As I typing this is at took me nearly 3hours to settle him (still no proper wind brought up) and it will soon b time for next feed :(
He is bottle fed and I asked hv about it today who just advised to feed before he cries and not to give him the last half of oz! She really didn't get how severe it is and how bad he screams when he gets it!
Can anyone pls pls pls help with advice?!

Infacol works for some babies to minimise wind a d can be given from birth. It helps disperse big bugles on their tummies into smaller ones that are rosier to pass either end.

There's also Dentinox that does similar, not sure if 1m+ or not, check the box.

Also gripe water, but after 6 weeks I think. Check box. You're only supposed to use one of these at a time.

We used to wind DD before feeds, twice during then for ages after. If your baby still has wind between feeds, try the Tiger in the tree hold (see YouTube) which can help bring it up and be really soothing.

HTH.

Thank u, she did mention infacol but said as a last resort, which I am at now!
I told her i try and wind half way thru feeding but she advised me not to if it causes more crying and just let him finish the whole feed?? But he can't finish the whole feed as his wind is hurting him too much :(
I will av a look at you tube now!
