I have a 9 mth old who I breastfeed twice a day, morning and evening. Taking three solids and water too. I will be away from him all day tomorrow, doing a course. I have to get an early train at 6.30am and will be back home at 8pm. Could I get away with no feeds and feel comfortable or do I need to bring pump with me. To be honest I could do without the hastle of pumping if I can get away with it. Can my boobs cope a full day without feeding?? Any advice? Tia.

Can you express by had just for your comfort?

I'd take a pump, just in case. I could not hand express so would take a pump. Of course if you can do it by hand you will be fine.
At 9mo I could go from 730am to 5pm with no problem. So it is only a small stretch to the hours you are talking about....
If you can feed just before you leave in the morning you might be all right but if you have the pump you definitely will be!
Good luck.

Maybe I could pump before I go?
