Dd has taken to, several times every feed, pulling off boob, examining my nipple very closely, and then grabbing it Shock

She's managed to gouge my nip, which is very painful!

Suggestions on how to stop the behaviour and heal the wound, please! Have slapped on some lansinoh for the time being.

No help Bunty, sorry. As you know DS2 is a fiddler too.

I think the only way at this stage is a sharp NO and putting the boob away altogether for a few moments. Break the cycle.

Or get one of those breastfeeding necklaces to fiddle with instead?

Have been doing that, and giving her her comforter to play with, but nip is far more interesting. Only happens when she's not ravenous, so popping it away will hopefully have an effect!
