Green stool

I seem to be asking loads of questions on here everyday Hmm, but last few days my breastfed baby who is 5 months old keeps having a lot of green stools. He is teething at the moment. Would that make him have them?

Yes, teething can cause green stools, I think the excess saliva can irritate their tummy.

My dd had lots of green poo but this was earlier on and I think as I wasn't emptying breast - I was swopping too quickly - going back to the same one helped. Also weaning does change it - you can often tell as it smells different - vinegary or sour. Does it smell? Any sore bum? My dd gets nappy rash when teething too. X

No real bad smell. But he has got nappy rash.
