Dd is almost 10mo and I have been really lucky with breast feeding so far with it coming really easily.
Now dd has top teeth it has become painful. She doesn't bite but the top teeth constantly graze my nipple at each suck. Dd has never had a really wide mouth for feeding but was able to get enough milk so has never been a problem before.
I feed 4 times a day and was planning to keep this until a year and then drop to 1 feed by 13 months then keep the final feed indefinitely, but I'm sure sure I can take it.
I think it might be an undolvable problem because she isn't going to change how much she opens her mouth, but wondered if anyone had any tips?

Have you ever had her checked for tongue tie? It might be worth ruling it out.

Are her top teeth quite new? DS was always like this for the first couple of weeks after a new tooth coming through, then he worked out how to use his new improved mouth properly. Grin
He is tongue-tied, though - maybe normal babies don't do this...
