slow let down

Hi I've exclusively breastfed for 6 months now... I've had a slow let down for a while but its getting slower! My baby is very impatient and instead of sucking to encourage the let down she screams at them instead! I know the more stressed I get the slower it will be so I've tried to relax and take deep breaths to encourage it to come through but its just not quick enough for her! Does anyone know if there's anything else I can try? I love breastfeeding and was going to continue to do so until at least 12 months! My baby won't even have expressed from a bottle she just wants boobs! So even if I was to stop feeding it would be such a battle to switch to bottle and this is the last thing I want to do.

my let down is sooo much faster if ive drunk loads of water.

It'll help to respond more quickly to your baby's feeding cues, so she is not impatient :)

I doubt you have a slower let-down - that's just not usually an issue after this long bf.

Thank you ill try the water! I do drink quite a lot but will drink loooooads today!
And I never let my baby get to the point where she is screaming for food... She has pretty much always been fed whenever she wants! Maybe its just the witching hour on a night time!
Thanks for the replies (smile)
Will definitely post again if I have anymore problems.

ive always fed straight away too and my let down sometimes seems to take longer than usual, I think the hot weather affects me
