Nipple pain

Hi

I've just had LOs tongue and lip tie removed but haven't seen much improvement. My nipples are very sore during and after a feed, and feels like a burning sensation. I noticed that during the feeds a white spot appears on my nipple and remains for a little white after feed. Any idea what that could be and if it could have any relevance?

Is it the tip of your nipple turning white? (Blanching)

If it's blanching, like the blood has gone from your nipple, this usually indicates a poor latch. Can you get a bfing expert to observe you feed?
