Flipping day and night

Ds2 is 12 days and I'm not doing very well at establishing day and night. He's waking every 1.5 hours overnight but will sleep for 3-4 hour stretches if I let him in the day.

Planning to wake him every two hours today for feeds but already he's just nodding straight off midway through the feeds.

MW has said my oversupply could be contributing. He has to do very little for milk to literally gush out. Meaning he's full up v quickly with watery milk and never gets to the thick stuff. And his nighttime feeding frenzy is obviously stimulating more milk.

Help!

It took awhile for my dd to distinguish between day and night too. At 12 days old (congratulations by the way) it's very early days. Keep doing what you're doing and feed on demand. Your baby will settle into a routine.
