Hi
Not sure if anyone can help, I did also post this in another (inforrect) section
I am exclusively breastfeeding and my 8 week old had been getting into a pretty decent routine of down at half 8, feed at 2, occasional feed at 4 then up at 7 but the last two nights he has been up a lot more often, last night he went down at 10 then was up at 1,2,3,5 and 6!!! We did put him in his cot two nights ago so I don't know if its related or if anyone has any advice?
Thanks

It could be a growth spurt. I know with my DD there were times where felt like we a routine with how often she fed. Then other times it went out the window and she fed like crazy.
Only advice I have is to let her feed as much as she wants. It's how your body knows how much milk to make.

Hi Smirnoff. I only have one ds who is now 13 months, but one of the main things I have learnt about bf is that it never stays the same! I would imagine that your baby is having a growth spurt and all the extra feeding is to increase your milk supply. It may be related to being in a cot, but it's impossible to know.
