Weaning from breast to bottle. Quick question.

My DD currently has 5-6 feeds a day. I've just started introducing a bottle at about dinner time 7-8pm depending on when her last BF was cos I'm still BF on demand.
When I add on another bottle feed a day do they need to be consecutive? Eg Should I replace the feed before it? Or can I replace a morning or lunchtime feed?
TIA

How old is she?

She's 16weeks. Does her age make a big difference?

I did this at 8 weeks. Personally I would have thought alternating feeds to wean would be better as it spreads it out and gives you boobs chance to adjust; it is gentler on them in the sense that If you drop 2 consecutive feeds you may have more fullness/pain whilst they adjust x

I hadn't thought of it that way. Thank you ladypop that makes sense. I haven't had any pain yet but I do feel very full by the time the next feed comes. I'll alternate them hopefully it'll work well that way.
