Why so much milk!? Help me boost my supply

Hi DD is 8 months and only takes EBM (as well as some water during the day)

My supply has dipped as she required less and less since she started wanting more solids but now she seems to want more milk all of a sudden, she's gone from about 500ml (17ish 0z) to almost double that in 24 hours.

Does anyone know why she might suddenly want more? She hasn't taken quite as much solid food as we're doing BLW and she just doesn't seem as hungry for food.

Also how can I quickly boost my supply? Any tricks or tips? She won't feed from me any more so I can't get her to help me out :-(

I find that nursing tea boosts my supply. Look for it on amazon, it's the one that comes in a greeny white pack. Just having one now actually.

You could try fenugreek tablets too. Best of luck! Smile

Thanks butteryjam I've never heard of either of these. I'll definitely give it a go!

I can really recommend the fenugreek capsules. My supply took a dip 2 weeks ago as I had to stop feeding for a day due to a poorly nipple, I started taking them and within 1-2 days my boobs were full to bursting!

They aren't cheap at £9.99 from Holland and Barratt but worth every penny IMO. Good luck!
