Medela Nipple Shields help.

So I bought these to help my sore nipples. Trying to use them, does anyone know, is the nipple supposed to go right down to the end of the teat when you put them on, or does it go part way down and the baby sucks it down the rest? I can't get my nipple to go right down to the tip where the holes are, bit confused.

When I used them, my nipple only went part way down - by the time DC stopped feeding, it would be a lot further down - because of the sucking. So I think it's ok - wouldn't say i'm 100% sure though. They do different sizes, although my local mothercare only sold medium and large. Think you can get small ones on amazon.

Only meant to go half way or so and then yes baby sucks it. Hoe you would measure diameter is straight after a feed, put it on and see if it fits and it should.
