questions about storing breast milk.

Just a few questions about storing milk. I'm going out for a meal for a few hours and have an 8 week old.

If my baby only takes half a bottle of breastmilk can I re-offer him the same bottle? If yes how long after will it last?

How long can it be out at room temp?

Can I add cooled milk (kept in the fridge) in storage containers to another?
I have 2oz storage pots but only bought 6. I'm only managing about 1oz (if that) when I express so can I cool the milk and add it together so I have more storage pots?

Sorry for ny random questions lol

Guidance here, on a side note have you tried a different pump? 1oz at a time may be all you are able to get but you may find a different pump can help you get more in one go. Even the cheap hand pumps can be different, I got plenty with the Boots own brand one!

I bought some bags that I used for milk storage, think they came with my medela pump but I'm sure there are many types - they stand up so are easier to handle and can be chilled or frozen. I never got on with expressing and ds never accepted a bottle so can't help re the quantities and mixing bottles!

Thanks for the link venividivino :) it answered all my questions.
I'm using a manual pump and I think it's more that he's feeding so often that I'm having trouble getting much off than anything else. He's a greedy little babby :)

Never tried the bags.. might give them a go, thanks
