Not seeming to pump as much as I used to?

Every 3 or 4 hours I used to be able to pump 5 or 6oz. Now I only pump 3 or 4oz and I don't know why?

I read somewhere that sometimes it becomes less affective after a while. If this is the case, is there anything I can do to rectify it?

I have a single electric breast pump. I pump every 3 or 4 hours, unless or sometimes even if I have breastfeed. Baby is 4 months old and tends to take 5 or 6oz in general of bottle, sometimes just 4oz though.

What am I doing wrong?

Do I need a stronger pump? If so, any recommendations?

Worried and am sure that doesn't help either! :)

I ended up not pumping any but was still feeding. I found that manual pumps were good, even though I was convinced that electric would be better.

I don't know if U can change amount out of your breast. I never managed and by 12 weeks could not pump any. My sister also EBF her two babies and could never express.

How old is your child? How much you pump is never a true indication of how much milk you have. I EBF and there are times when I pump and only managed a teaspoon. You shouldn't worry about the amounts. just get out what you can.
