Breastfeeding with implants?

I breastfed my first two and was inevitably left with empty sacks and had implants thinking I wouldn't have any more children.

We decided on another batch after all and I just assumed Id breastfeed, completely forgot about the bits of silicone in my chest.

Id be gutted if I couldn't breastfeed, I know bottle feeding would make me feel like I was looking after someone elses baby.

Had a look online and it says it shouldn't make any difference, but does anyone have any experience?

Alica Duvall manage to breast feed after she had about a dozen boob jobs. It depends on whether on not they cut the milk ducts. How did they insert the implant?

It's quite unusual to not be able to breastfeed after implants if there's no uplift involved and the incisions weren't around the nipple.

I've had implants twice and have breastfed before any surgery, after one surgery and now after both surgeries am still BF DD, aged 2 whilst pregnant and plan to tandem nurse.

I did get repeated mastitis in one side which was possibly caused by the implant on that side pressing on a duct (I have very large implants though) and I also have a rupture in that side. However, my implants are PIPs and that may well be a factor, almost certainly where the rupture is concerned. I'm just waiting until I've finished breastfeeding to get them removed.
