Does your bf baby always try to go on other people's boobs?

As the title says, do your babies try and suckle other adults? My boy always tries to get on the boob of whoever is holding him. It's mostly ladies but he will try men as well!

Hopefully it's not because he's hungry (as he seems settled otherwise) and I do wonder if we will ever be able to have nice cuddles without drooly rooting!

Dd Always tried to suckle on dp when she was a newborn, and once she latched onto a roll of my postnatal belly flab

I woke up to dd suckling on my elbow once when she was tiny. She laughs at my postnatal belly flab (only mildly depressing!).

She does have a go at other people's chest areas, but loses interest quite quickly.

Dh currently has a love bite looking mark on his neck from dd trying an alternative method of milk extraction!

I had to stop bf my DS quite suddenly due to illness. He used to have a go on anyone and everyone for ages! He tried it on one of the nursery nurses at his nursery about 3 months later!

Mine still does try to nuzzle anyones norks and she's 2 she hasn't been breast fed for a long time!

It's not just BF babies; my bottle fed cousin tried to suckle me when I was about 12 at a family gathering. I was very self conscious about my new breasts and was absolutely mortified.

Not only nuzzling, ds will pull down the tops of any woman if he's thirsty. He's 14 months and only has milk 2-3 times a day!

also had a friend's baby try to suckle on me last week- I think she could smell my milk!

15 weeks old and she does this with my Mum, not so much my Dad but definitely my DP and my sister.

She tries her best to yank my top down. She's nearly there, so hopefully she doesn't decide to do this in public.
