uninterested 6 month old bf

my ds is 30 weeks app. he has been totally bf and is now also on 3 meals a day (jars im ashamed to say, he wont eat anything savoury)
i have only just found this site and reading through it have realised that he does not feed as much as other babies seem to.
he has a morning feed (one side) afternoon feed (one side) night feed (both sides) and 1 middle of the night feeds (both sides)
that actually sounds a lot but he just is so uninterested in feeding while he is awake and only does it through necessity.
he has recently started to drink water fromn a bottle.
has anyone a baby with the same

if he's getting 3 meals a day he's going to cut down on his milk supply.

do try to get him off the jars though (i know easier said than done), my extrememly picky eater son fed on jars, he ended up with carotonamiea (probably incorrect spelling) jars can contain a lot of carrot product. It didnt actually do him any harm, just tinged the colour of his skin and made him look tanned, but i felt like a crap parent when they said you are feeding your child too many jars and made me feel like a lazy mother. i wanted to scream "he wont eat anything else, what do i do? let him starve?"

my DS is 4 1/2 now .

well done on the breast feeding and dont worry he'll take as much as he needs.
