Feeling low is it my hormones?

Hi, just wondering if other breast feeding mums are the same, I've been so happy 8m but now tearful and grumpy and generally down. My dh thinks my hormones are coming back is this likely?

Apparently there is a hormone thing at about 9 months. I got really broody when ds was this age. Not sure if it is a hormone surge or decrease.
