Do I need to do anything extra or different? Im breastfeeding my 7 week old, she's feeding ok I think but it's really hot and I know I shouldn't give water but it is tempting!

Just keep feeding on demand and make sure you keep your fluids up and let nature do the rest. You'll probably find baby wants to feed more frequently, my 8 month old certainly does at the moment, but you're right there's no need to give water because your milk will naturally be more thirst quenching when it's hot - aren't our bodies amazing!

If you feel she needs more to drink, offer her more breast feeds.

More frequent feeding = milk spends less time sitting in the ducts = less fatty = more thirst quenching = more feeds over the day = same total amount of calories consumed overall. Smile
