A river ferry.
Burger King at motorway services
At the table at Christmas dinner.

PoppyWearer · 11/07/2013 20:22

I've posted this before, but: in the Olympic Stadium. During the Olympic Games.

VinegarDrinker · 11/07/2013 20:24

Up quite a few mountains
On multiple buses, tubes, trains etc

Probably easier to list places I haven't BF!

RNJ3007 · 11/07/2013 20:26

Bus stop near Victoria, stood in the checkout queue in the supermarket, in the dentist chair, in the hairdressers chair, sat on the bonnet of my car at a service station, whilst having my implant removed... I breasted wherever I needed to. The moby wrap was my friend!

partyondude · 11/07/2013 20:27

During the speeches at some friends' wedding. Twas fine (apart from the semi unwrapped wrap dress) until the toast to the bridesmaid - me - and everyone turned to look at me! Dd was 2 weeks old and it was the first time I'd fed standing up!
Also fed DS half way round the supermarket. When he'd finished I clearly didn't dress myself well and it was only the look on a staff member's face - the one thhat said "now, what does the staff Manuel tell us to do about indecebtly dressed customers " that told me I'd left my nipples out.

milkyjo · 11/07/2013 20:28

I breastfed on the side of the road the other day whilst helping a group of teenagers whose friend was having a panic attack!

IcouldstillbeJoseph · 11/07/2013 20:32

I fed during a smear test - the nurse said it was a first for her

plummyjam · 11/07/2013 22:43

The giraffe enclosure at London zoo
A golf driving range

angeltattoo · 11/07/2013 22:43

Walking around Ikea has been my biggest achievment so far (8 weeks in and after a rocky start!)

angeltattoo · 11/07/2013 22:44

And in a solicitor's office today...

ClaireandGeorge · 11/07/2013 22:46

In a restaurant kitchen.

TinyTear · 12/07/2013 11:19

Poppy I also did it in the Olympic Stadium watching Athletics

But also a bus stop - standing up
Trains, cafes, top of a mountain, buses, beach, playground, paddling pool... anywhere I guess... I didn't let my daughter keep me at home.

That is the wonder of BF, you can just do it!

LaTrucha · 12/07/2013 11:22

In the back of a taxi, while the baby was in the car seat. Blush

Finishing line of the Park Run this morning.

I didn't realise it was the finish when I started but I figured if anyone didn't like it it would just make them run faster!

MrsHoarder · 13/07/2013 16:26

Stood up watching the kayaking at the Olympics.
On top of a mountain.
In the Tesco shareholder AGM.

igirisu · 13/07/2013 18:49

every Starbucks i ever visit my son decides hes hungry so Starbucks, a Museum, A disabled toilet when he was younger as i was getting used to it all, in the car parked outside tesco, on the bathroom floor and Harvester and hes only 3 weeks old!

HighVoltage · 13/07/2013 19:24

Kennington tube station on the northbound platform was not a highlight - I had a loiterer hanging around me but then a lovely woman and her daughter came and asked if I was ok and hung around a bit until my spectator left.

Loveliest was on top of a big hill (not quite a mountain) with fab views in Spain.

KeepTheFaithBaby · 13/07/2013 20:26

Village fair (two different ones in a week!), Sea front, On the beach. Cafe at a swimming baths , Tea room, More cafes!
Bench at the back of a Mothercare store, pub beer garden, In the car (various by my favourite would be last Sunday, DH had iplayer on his phone and we watched Murray win Wimbledon in a layby off the A46!)

teabagpleb · 13/07/2013 20:43

Olympic stadium and Excel for the Olympics.
In an appt with a business bank manager (bank managers are great with babies IME, even invited me to change a nappy in their office if I needed to, which I did with dd.)

Those perch seats in bus shelters.
Leaning against a tree in a park, surrounded by young teenagers on school lunch break.
Standing leaning against a wall in an alley in the City of London - not a place to get caught in rush hour - no space or seats anywhere! Didn't work very well, but kept us going until I found a M&S.

My proudest bf though was in the middle of [ahem] active d+v. Mostly because I couldn't figure out how to put ds down so seemed best for him to just stay put...

CareerGirl01 · 13/07/2013 21:15

Parents evening! In a sling of course. In the park, at a train station! Before DD2 I would never have imagined it! But by doing this ladies we can only encourage Bfeeding to be more normal!

gaggiagirl · 13/07/2013 21:22

On the toilet and in every cafe/shop toilet I've ever been in, I was a first time mammy but will breastfeed where I please next time.

nethunsreject · 13/07/2013 21:44

Walking along the beach with a newborn who was cluster feeding and a restless toddler who needed fresh air. Lots of play parks again while running the big one. Lots of park benches, coffee shops etc. The underground, the bus, etc, etc. Least pleasant was feeding number two while wiping number omr's backside Shock Shock [sadGrin

flamingtoaster · 13/07/2013 21:48

At 35,000 feet in an aeroplane was the strangest I think.
