My 10 mo is doing really well with his solids, having 3 meals a day with snacks in between and juice/water. I'm trying to squeeze formula feeds within that, offering 6ozs 3 times a day, morning afternoon and bed. He has only been taking 3 or 4 ozs these days and I'm starting to stress - is this normal?! Or am I expecting too much?! Should I cut a bottle out? I still want him to get the nutrients from the formula but I know a lot of then will be in his food as well.
Thanks in advance! Smile

The recommended minimum is 20floz of first stage formula each day until he's 1. If he's only taking 3 or 4 oz 3 times a day that's not nearly enough.

Are you offering the bottle an hour before solids? Once they are one you can start offering milk after food.

What does his day look like?
