Milk blister = ouch!

I've had a milk blister that was causing blocked ducts that has now for want of a better word popped. Any tips on helping this to be soothed & healed asap would be much appreciated as at the moment I have essentially got an open blister on the end of my nipple which is not a barrel of laughs generally but come feeding time......

Really feel for you. Are you getting any real life help?

No sadly not. To be fair ds will be 16 weeks tomorrow & this is the first nipple injury we've had so far this time around so I'm considering myself lucky. I'd managed to block out the memory of the pain from when both nipples were in tatters with ds1, you do somehow forget just how much something so tiny can hurt.

Ouch. I had this affliction twice while bfing. Once mine burst they healed relatively quickly but I don't think I put anything on them other than a dab of tea tree oil (obviously thoroughly washed before next feed) DS was only feeding 3 times a day so I wasn't being too demanded on.

I hope it gets better really soon!

Is it any better tonight?

Yes thank goodness, spent 24hrs using jelonet & it's loads better! Bf should come with danger money & a health warning! ;-)
