Finding a breastfeeding counsellor

Can someone tell me how to find a B/F counsellor in my area.

You may not get to speak to someone actually in your area, and all the calls are answered by volunteers.

Speak to your HV or midwife as they should know about local contacts - mine did.

I personally found La Leche brill - did home visits etc to give me 'hands on' help.

If you contact the NCT enquiry line on 0870 444 8707 they will tell you the contact number for your local branch who will be able to let you know if there is a bfc in your area.
