Twins/green foamy poo/nappy rash/grumpy! Help!!

So my EBF 5 mo DTs have had green foamy poo - up to 10 a day! - for the past 4-5 days. They also have horrible nappy rash and are v grumpy. All seems to point to oversupply but how on earth do I manage that with twins? I think the normal advice would be to feed off one breast for two feeds in a row but that,s not very practical, particularly as I tandem feed a lot and also wouldn't they get quite a weird milk balance? Any ideas?

You probably know that it is worth getting their latch position checked. If they have grown, then they could have shifted position and need a bit of adjusting.

It could be teeth starting ds1 got his first tooth at this age and he used to have the symptoms you describe exactly.

By oversupply do you mean too much foremilk? If so, I had a problem with ds1 and colic. I used to express off some foremilk and throw it away, so that he could get to the richer, hindmilk quicker. It wasn't recommended to us by anyone, so perhaps check that it's a good idea, but I would get mastitis if I fed twice from the same side, so it worked for us.

PS Metanium for the nappy rash in the meantime. Magic stuff. Use very sparingly.
