Is this normal? I get the chills after a feed, i feel freezing. Am also feeling tired and run down but with a 7 day old thats no surprise. I dont have a temp, boobs are sore but no more so then when i was pg.

You need more cake.

I felt the same. Chocolate helped seriously. I think it was just taking the last bit of my reserves tbh

Ha ha, great response. Chocolate it is then! I do feel totally done in so i did suspect it could be that.

I got the same - and nights sweats (delightful!). Was told it was hormonal and I think it probably was - it did settle down. As long as chills aren't actually an ongoing temperature and you're not harbouring infection somewhere??

how's your blood sugar do you think? I get the chills after exercise if i haven't refuelled (sorry, I know nothing about bf but i am pretty sure it does use energy/calories).

What signet said :) that's the advice we all want to hear!

I know what you eat doesn't affect milk supply unless seriously starved, but I felt i needed to eat (and still do) so much food it's ridiculous. Constantly hungry; Good stuff but loads of sweet carbs too, weight still came off in no time so just chomp away :).

I had this - absolutely freezing cold and shivering with some night sweats thrown in for good measure. It didn't last too long. Look after yourself as much as possible and eat/drink plenty. Keep an eye on your temp just in case.
