My right boob is aching, as if bruised, it can be while I'm feeding on the other side or after a feed on that side? Any idea what it could be?

TIA

Could it be a blocked duct? When I get a bruised feeling boob it's usually that. Hot bath/compress and massage help.

Ooo maybe but I have no lumpy bits, or any other symptoms. will try some heat to see if it eases. I'm trying to avoid dr google!

Blocked duct or first sign if mastitis feel similar to me when I get both but for me blocked duct a lump appears and gets bigger and bigger! Mastitis red lines appear on breast and the flu feelings start.

Like McBaby the bruised achy feeling is the first sign for me, lump comes later if I don't catch it in time.

I got this and never got a lump and the dr said it was a blocked duct. It took a couple of weeks to go completely. Just kept feeding on that side and expressing

Could be thrush. Best to see your GP. And rather than random googling check out the thrush/blocked duct/mastitis FAQs in kellymom website.
