Times up! But no idea how to stop!

I'm thinking of calling time on BFing ds2. I've made it to 10 nearly 11 months which is longer than I ever thought I would, I'm back at work now and he is coming round to the idea of bottles ( although would much rather have me on tap) but I have no idea how to stop! Do I go cold turkey or ease him off gently? How long does it take? There are days where he only has a bf before bed but he still feeds in the night. How much milk does he need now...? I have no idea where to start can anyone help...? Thanks

I wouldn't bother with bottles at all, they are supposed to be phased out by 1 year anyway. Offering milk in a cup would be better.

Have you considered just keeping going till 12 months and skipping formula altogether? You could go straight onto cows milk then. At that point you just need to make sure they are getting enough calcium, through milk, cheese, yoghurt etc.
