Dd is 3 weeks old and breastfeeding has been going really well.
However, the last few days I've started to think my left side isn't producing as much milk as my right.

she doesn't seem content on my left side and only feeds for a short time. My right side seems plentiful and she seems much more settled once fed from that side.

I haven't expressed yet - but would like too at some point, I wanted to make sure things were well established before starting.

Any tips or ideas? Perhaps I'm just being silly and over worrying!!

I had an über boob too! Still do to a certain extent (DD is 9 months). I think it's normal for babies to have one side they prefer and that then produces more so they feed more and so on.

Not sure of the official advice but I tried to start about 2 in every 3 feeds on the slower breast as I think the baby's suck is supposed to be more powerful at the beginning of each feed. I'd then switch breasts every time she came off. This seemed to even them up a bit!

Grin at uber boob! I like that.

I shall give that a go. Thank you
