Did you bother swapping to follow on milk? If so at what age did you switch? Did you wait till they were eating a good amount of solids? Smile

No need. Follow on milk allows the companys to get around the regulations which state you can't advertise formula for babies under 6 months of age. I didn't bother changing to it & went to cow's milk atb12 momthd

I didn't change from Stage 1 at all with dd1. However at 6 months with my subsequent children, I moved to Stage 2. This was solely because it was much cheaper, I could take advantage of special offers etc.

I then moved straight on to cows milk at 12 months.

Is there any difference in taste, i heard it wasn't as filling? I was looking at changing because its cheaper and does go on offer, but don't want to upset the apple cart as DD drinks her bottles well and sleeps through Smile

Move to follow on, as pp said you can get it on offer, claim club card/advantage points on it etc.

I tried switching at 6 months but ds got unsettled so went back to first milk. Tried again at 9 months and he was fine. I switched due to it being cheaper/getting special offers, etc rather than claims about extra iron.
