Tummy bug and milk supply!?

I'm on my 4th day of vomiting and diarrhoea and I'm very worried about my milk supply. My dd is 8 mo. She got the bug earlier in the week and I cut out solids for a couple of days so she's been bf a lot. She's stopped vomiting but her poos still aren't back to normal. She woke up 4 times last really upset and wanting milk. I normally wake up leaking and milk squirting everywhere but this morning hardly a drop. I feel completely drained and exhausted. Dd refuses to take a bottle. I'm really worried she's not going to get enough milk. She will sip water from a cup but only a tiny bit.

A nasty bout of V&D can have a temp impact on supply, fizzy but not sufficiently dramatic to affect an 8 mth old's health or well-being....carry on with the offer of water and carry on offering the breast ad lib and all should be well. Hope you feel better soon.

Thanks tiktok. She seems fine and has wet nappies even though my boobs feel empty and saggy. Routine completely gone to custard and feeding little and often.
