Should I not let my 3 month old fall asleep at the breast?
I have a real job keeping him awake.

Not if he's happy and growing well. Enjoy it whilst it lasts!

Exactly what plummy said. As long as he's growing well and he's happy then it's fine. Ds is six months and he still falls asleep on the breast a lot.

I always did - it was very handy for putting him to sleep once he got older too. DS is totally fine, happy, healthy, good teeth, goes to sleep on his own now etc. So no permanent rod made, and no damage done that I can see.

My ten month old feeds to sleep regularly but over a couple if days we have just taught her to self settle for one nap a day as it no longer coincides with a feed. She settle very quickly by her self. But when we attempted self settling at 4 months it was an absolute nightmare!

So as long as it works for both of you go with it and it will work out in the end

Thank you for the replies. My little chap's gaining weight so I didn't see a problem. But then a lot of people where saying you don't want him to to fall asleep because u'll get him in to bad habits.
