there seems to be lots of conflicting advice on how to store feeds when out and about. Some say ok to make up feed and keep in insulated bag. Some say just take out the boiled water which can be kept at any temperature and add formula powder when needed. Advice please!!

i found the easiest is to carry bottles with cooled boiled water and use a formula dispenser and mix & warm up as you need it. i've bought one of those fisher price flasks to warm up feeds.

i used to carry cooled boiled water and used a dispenser to add the right number of scoops of powder. At one point i even had a thermos flask filled with hot water!!
