I'm stopping breast feeding my twins at the mo, they're nearly nine months. I stopped dtb 5 days ago but am carrying on a couple of feeds with dtg for a week or so so my boobs are ok. Seems a bit odd to have stopped one before the other I know but has just worked out like that!

Anyway, I digress.....dtb is A big boy and has always feed a lot. He's not feeding during the night so I want to be sure he's getting enough milk during the day and obvs I can't know how much he was taking when bfing. I've been told they're supposed to have 600ml a day but yesterday he had 750 and the day before 800! Is this far too much or is the 600 just a guide amount? He's also having a reasonable amount of solids.

At 9 months my Ds would have been offered 3, 200 ml bottles. Breakfast, lunch &bedtime. Water at tea time. Hope that helps.
