One breast makes baby projectile vomit

DD2 is 9 days old, I had a CS and she latched and fed at 45minutes old - she has brought my milk in beautifully and is gaining weight very very well and loads of wet nappies. She is demand fed but has set her own pattern of every 2-3 hours pretty much since birth.

When she feeds from my left breast she usually brings up the whole feed a few minutes afterwards. I've tried to express off a little in case of fast let down but doesn't seem to help, she becomes extremely distressed after being sick, often almost choking and turning red.

I fed DD1 until 27months so I've a reasonably good grasp of the basics but DD1 wasn't ever sicky despite having silent reflux quite badly.

Any ideas?

Congratulations on your DD! If it's fast letdown, there are some other suggestions here on Kellymom . What's her latch like on that side, compared to the other?

Latch is bang on perfect both sides, suspect let down issue - when I had DD1 my supply on my left was double that on my right - this time I have so much milk both sides makes pam Anderson looks flat chested

Will check out link - thank you :-

How are you getting on? I hope your supply has started to settle down a bit.

Off yo GP in a bit as its not got better and they want to check her over, she now projectile vomits just about every feed, quite sleepy and not so many wet nappies.

I asked yesterday in Chat and was reassured I wasn't being neurotic and it might be more than a simple latch issue.

Ty for asking

Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. Hope the GP is helpful and there's a simple solution.
