Hour long feeds at 11weeks

How normal is this? DS has slight TT. He's feeding we'll and gaining weight really well so it doesnt appear to be bothering him but I wondered if the long feeds were due to the TT?

It doesn't bother me as such but I also have a 2yo DD who gets bored stiff and wants attention while I am sat there for an hour every 3hrs and if there was something I could do to speed him up I think it would really help. ATM all feeds lead to me shouting at DD because she's bored and climbing on me, hitting DS, climbing the curtains etc.

Not sure if it's normal, but it was for my DS. I remember I was desperate to do anything other than sit on the sofa and feed, and that is all I seemed to do.

DD seems to be a more efficient feeder than DS was, so it may be individual, or it could be the TT. May be worth getting it checked out.

Until around three-four months old the majority of our feeds were 45 mins to an hour long. The turning point came when she became more distracted by the outside world!

My DTs turned a corner at about 14 weeks. We're now down to 10 min feeds or less! Blink and you miss them. Hang in there
