Do I need to replace my pump and bottles?

I absentmindedly put a small pair of plastic handled scissors in the microwave steriliser with my pump and bottles. No sooner had I set the microwave going than I smelled burning plastic and whipped the steriliser out again. The plastic on the scissors had melted.

Later I noticed that the component parts of the pump have a smell of melted plastic. Might it be toxic? Should I throw everything away?

Just bumping for you.

Thanks Jilted! I put bicarbonate of soda and water in the steriliser to stand then ran everything through the dishwasher, threw away that batch of milk and resterilised everything. Hopefully it's now safe as I've used it since!
