I don't ever post on these things but just thought I'd share my experience as it may help someone else. My Little boy is seven weeks old and since he was born has suffered reflux/regurgitation. . He was exclusively breastfed for the first 4/5 weeks and then we introduced aptamil on a night. During all feeds he would be frequently pulling away and would need a lot of burping - he has been extremely windy - from both ends!! He was obviously in some pain and would usually regurgitate some of every feed.He was prescribed gaviscon and we also tried infacol which didn't seem to help much A few days ago we went fully onto formula feeds and he started brining back what seemed like full feeds - coming out of his mouth and nose at some speed!! After speaking to a very helpful HV (after very unhelpful GP telling me to go back to breastfeeding!), I switched to Aptamil anti reflux and at the same time decided to try the tommee tippee anticolic bottles. What a change. Since the first feed he has taken a full feed straight down, no pain or pulling away. He has a little burp at the end and he's a happy boy. The most regurgitation we've had is a tiny bit of spit up once - not even enough to need a tissue - we've been going through muslin after muslin before this. The only problem is this aptamil seems to be only available in boots and you can only buy two at a time - must be because it's so good! Hope this helps someone out there!

Your gp might be able to get it you on prescription. My son had to have sma Lf (as it turns out pointless and had to keep bf until 15 months when they finally tried a soya one he was fine with)
Anyway we got that on prescription, meaning free, plus they order in the amount you need so no more 2 at a time.

Don't know if they can do it for you but got to be worth a go!
