So, my mastitis is healing up with antibiotics but baby has been feeding really peculiarly last night / today. Last night he kept waking, feeding for about 2 minutes, then falling asleep- nothing would wake him, so I'd put him down. The he'd wake again about 30 minutes later and the whole thing would start again.... And again...
Today he's not fed properly- he's hungry, will latch on, but then keeps coming off, on, off, on, off- I'm sure it's not a supply issue.
I can't see any white patches in is mouth, and otherwise he seems fine.
My nipples are very sore, even though they have been fine. They're very pink, but not shiny and no white spots, they feel very dry. Feeding is painful, but I'd put that down to baby not latching properly. Nipples are itchy.
Perhaps the antibiotics I'm taking for mastitis have started thrush?
Does it sound like thrush?
