could this be caused by underwires?

Baby is now 6.5 months and I've just started wearing underwired nursing bras.

I've noticed a lumpy almost blocked part on my left breast which eases with feeding. Now my right nipple has what looks like two tiny blisters on the tip.

I've not had any problems before so just wonder why this is happening now, any ideas?

no idea, haven't worn underwired bras for over a decade! Grin

but it could be I guess. can stop wearing them for a few days to see if the problem goes away?

There's some information here about milk blisters. They are usually pretty straightforward to treat but there are lots of ideas there if home remedies don't work.

It is OK to wear underwired bras, but only if they have been fitted properly. A bra that's the wrong size (usually cup size too small and back size too big) can cause problems. You might want to have a chat with the MN bra gurus over on style & beauty, thread here.
