Stopped breastfeeding, lumpy boobs, in agony

Stopped bf my daughter after 7 months of ebf, one week ago now.

Prior to this I reduced the feeds down to the stage where she was feeding just once in 24 hours and my supply dropped right off. I have been in agony since and my boobs have gone all lumpy and they hurt to touch.

How much longer will I feel like this and can I take anything to ease the pain.

You can take paracetamol or ibuprofen.. Have you tried clearing the blocked ducts with a bit of hand expressing?

I stopped at 9 months a few weeks ago and had one uncomfy breast. It took just over a week to start to get back to normal. When it felt engorged I took paracetamol and used those fridge cool packs specifically designed for it (cabbage leaves work too apparently). They say everyone is different but hope it calms down soon xx

P.s I'm pretty happy with end result, they are a bit squishier but nips still point in right direction!! :) x
